If you're looking for a place to stay right in the centre of things, The Porthvean is the perfect choice. It's ideally located for exploring Cornwall and has a car park at the back, making it convenient for those with a vehicle. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with soft duvets and comfortable beds. The breakfast is superb, with a variety of options to choose from. The host, Geoff, is friendly and personable, ensuring you have a great stay.
There may be some difficulty finding parking during the peak season, but that's true of everywhere in town.

The private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries felt really clean and comforting, making me feel right at home. The triple room had a cozy feel with a flat-screen TV and electric kettle, perfect for unwinding after a long day. I loved the city view from certain rooms, it added a touch of charm and made the stay even more delightful. The wardrobe in all rooms was handy for keeping everything organized and easy to find.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the hairdryer in the bathroom, but others might still find it useful.
